Cookies and browser storage

LendCedar does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Here is the short, complete list of what the site may store in your browser and how to remove it.

What LendCedar stores

The cookie notice. When you close the cookie notice, the site saves that choice in your browser’s local storage under the key lendcedar-cookie-notice, so it stays closed as you move between pages. It holds no name, email or identifier, and it is never sent to our server. It stays until you clear your browser’s site data.

That is the only item LendCedar itself places in your browser.

What Cloudflare Turnstile may store

Pages with a form (the loan request form, the contact form and the newsletter page) load Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that separates human visitors from automated bots. To do that, Turnstile may set the cookies or storage items Cloudflare needs for that check. Cloudflare describes them in its own privacy and cookie documentation. Turnstile runs only on form pages.

What LendCedar does not use

  • No analytics cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cookies from the calculators. They run in your browser, and what you type stays there unless you choose to continue to the loan request form.

Visits from our emails

Links in LendCedar emails may carry a campaign code after a # sign, or may pass through a short link on lendcedar.com. These record that a page was opened from a particular email. Neither one sets a cookie or stores anything in your browser. The Privacy policy explains what is recorded and who receives it.

How to clear or block storage

  • Clear it: in your browser settings, open the site data or “cookies and site data” section, find lendcedar.com and remove its data. The cookie notice will show again on your next visit.
  • Block it: you can block cookies and local storage for this site in your browser settings. A form may not submit if Turnstile cannot run its check; in that case, write to contact@lendcedar.com.
  • Private windows: most browsers delete stored items when a private window closes.

Changes and contact

If we add anything to this list, we will update this page and the date above. Questions go to contact@lendcedar.com or the contact form.
